The S&P BSE Sensex bounced  over 400 points despite muted trend seen in other Asian markets. The rally in the sensex   gains in HDFC, ICICI Bank, L&T, State Bank of India, and Bharti Airtel.

The 50-share Nifty index also up over  100 points to reclaim its assumption  level of 8200, supported by nifty share index  gains in auto, banks, capital goods, pharma and oil & gas stocks.
